Some ideas, I think about for a year or more before I paint them. Not this one. I knew I wanted to create a disco still life at 9am, and by 11pm it was complete. I was trying to capture the feeling of sunlight in a room. After living in a North facing apartment for almost two years, I dearly miss the warmth of the direct sun in my home.
